With Tavern Tosser we debated on making this our first commercial release. After thoughtful consideration on what would be needed to get the game to a ready state for commercial release, we decided to put our ideas for this game on the back burner. Originally we had an idea for a tavern manager simulator type of game but slowly moved away from the manager simulator vision. This was also CDS's first shot at a multiplayer game. We had multiple builds with full multiplayer support, but the decision to not publish the game on the Steam store meant there was no way to play multiplayer outside of having multiple instances running on the same machine. Thus, multiplayer was disabled for the final build of the game. On the bright side, CDS plans on implementing multiplayer in nearly every game we release and Tavern Tosser lead to that desire.
